Responsible Investment
The SFDR Regulation
The SFDR – Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation requires the publication of information on sustainable investment.
Pursuant to Article 6 of these Regulations, Spirit Asset Management (“Spirit AM”) informs its clients that, to date, it does not apply ESG (environmental, social, and governance) criteria in the context of its discretionary and advisory management services, due in particular to the difficulty in obtaining accurate and reliable information.
As part of its collective management activities, Spirit AM relies on the processes and tools put in place by the Management Company of the investment funds managed by Spirit AM, which aim to strike a balance between economic, social, and environmental factors. These tools consist of a rating system based on :
- factors for excluding companies that are primarily active in controversial sectors;
- the rating of a recognized professional;
- taking into account the objectives defined by the UN in its Sustainable Development Program;
- the consideration of positive criteria relating to alternative energies, energy efficiency, green building, pollution prevention, sustainable agriculture, and water resource management.
We invite our clients and investors to consult the prospectuses of our Funds and/or contact us for further details.
